Yes. The free version is a full app, not a trial: 12 widgets in every size, 3 themes, free-floating drag & drop with the invisible snap grid — no account, no time limit, no watermarks. Pro is an optional one-time upgrade on top.

No subscription. Pro is a one-time purchase of €9.99 with lifetime updates included. You receive a license key (BWG-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) by email and activate it in the app under Settings → Premium.

BetterMacWidgets requires macOS 15 (Sequoia) or later on Apple Silicon (M1 and newer). It's a native Mac app — notarized by Apple, with idle CPU usage near zero.

Privacy-first, by design: no telemetry, no analytics, no account. All widget data stays on your Mac. The only network requests are the ones you can see — weather forecasts, Now-Playing artwork, and license checks.
